Whether you need drinking water testing for private wells, real estate purposes or for your public water supply system (PWS), our lab can assist you with convenient, reliable and reasonably priced services. Coliform bacteria and E.coli are tested Monday – Thursday and nitrates are tested on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you are considering shock chlorinating your own well – remember that you can always contact Tim Butterfield Drilling, Inc. if you do not feel confident you can safely undertake this procedure or for a situation involving a more difficult case of bacterial infestation or/or slime buildup.

To test your private well water, obtain a sterile water sample bottle, instructions, and a lab submission form from Quality Water Testing. Results will be ready within one week. Sterile sample bottles are needed for Coliform bacteria and E.coli testing and can be picked up at our lab Monday-Friday from 8:00AM – 4:30PM. If you cannot make it to our location, we can mail a sample bottle to your address. We are no longer accepting outside water samples at this time.

Every private well should be tested annually and whenever there are changes in taste, color, odor or appearance.
